Round 1: Notorious B.I.G.

Notorious B.I.G. "Things Done Changed" off of his debut album, Ready to Die(released 1994)

Because the streets is a short stop,
Either you're slingin' crack rock or you got a wicked jump shot."

The intricacy of Notorious B.I.G.'s flow is still the undeniable standard of hip-hop, rap, whichever. With his deep, easy delivery he could effortlessly pile rhyme upon rhyme. Here he's explaining the limited outlook a man has growing up in the impoverished parts of Brooklyn, where options were thin. Either you made your living rapping, playing basketball, or selling drugs.
